When Saadia and Mizan suggested Kew Gardens as the location for their pre-wedding shoot, my first thought was “But that’s the other side of the M25!”. After I’d stopped being such a square, I realised that actually, Kew Gardens would make for a sensational pre-wedding location! So one hot and sunny Sunday we all ventured to South West London to experience the beautifully manicured surroundings of the royal botanical gardens. Kew was somewhere Saadia and Mizan had visited a couple of times before, but for me it was my first trip, and I was very happy to have finally experienced it. Though the biggest Victorian conservatory was undergoing renovation, we spent as much time as we could at points of interest such as the other conservatories and the giant water lilies, at least before we nearly passed out from the indoor humidity!

Kew Gardens was such a wonderful experience and I’m so glad to have been there. Saadia and Mizan’s wedding plans are advancing well, and I can’t wait to share their Hylands House wedding with you later this summer, because from what they’ve told me, it’s going to be epic! Check back here in August to see their cultural fusion wedding day – I for one cannot wait!
