Emma + Sam | Bruisyard Hall wedding
Back in beautiful August, I went into the depths of Suffolk for a wedding at Bruisyard Hall, a grand country house built in 1354 with over 600 acres of land near Saxmundham. On this occasion it was for the wedding of Emma and Sam, and it was another Suffolk wedding in which I assisted Kerrie Mitchell as her second shooter. Bruisyard hall is a stunning old building, and the weather gods smiled down upon us as the sun shone all day for this lovely couple.
As the girls got ready upstairs in the house, the boys were suited and booted downstairs, and once they’d done their obligatory slow motion Reservoir Dogs style walk, complete with beers in hand, they headed over to the barn where Emma and Sam would say their vows. Although not present at the ceremony, we were thrilled to see Emma and Sam had brought along their spaniel, Murphy, who made a cameo appearance during the drinks reception! Bringing dogs to weddings should be made mandatory, I am all for it!
After their wedding breakfast, there were the speeches which were equally amusing as they were heartfelt, and the evening reception was kicked off with some very energetic dancing! Here’s just a few shots from this beautiful Suffolk wedding:
