Sheryl + James | Greenwoods Wedding
Where do I start with this beauty? Sheryl and James had chosen Greenwoods Hotel in Stock, near Ingatestone for their wedding and had planned on an outdoors ceremony, which you would think would be perfect for July – but mother nature had other ideas! Despite the rainy weather which felt more Autumnal than Summer at times, Sheryl and James’ happiness on their wedding day couldn’t be dampened!
In the morning I joined Sheryl and her gang of bridesmaids at her mum’s house, who were having their hair and make up done before being whisked off to Greenwoods. Sheryl’s Kleinfeld dress came all the way over from New York so I was super careful around it, knowing what an incredible journey it had made!
James and the gents got ready at the venue, and welcomed guests from far and wide who were arriving for their ceremony. As the ceremony commenced, James’ little look back down the aisle at his impending bride approaching was just brilliant – check out the photos below in a second to see what I mean!
After photographs around the grounds (which thankfully don’t convey the weather!) the new Mr and Mrs Richardson sat down to dinner which was preceded by the speeches, which were memorable for all kinds of reasons. After two lovely speeches by the bride’s father and the groom, the guests were treated to a very funny speech by James’ brother Tom, the best man, who regaled us with how chuffed he was to be asked to be best man, along with some very tenuous references to Danny Dyer….
The evening was rounded off by drinks and dancing, and I went home buzzing after a genuinely lovely day in great company. But don’t take my word for it, you can check it out for yourselves!
